That at the fame time when the fd Major Talcott & Capt Allen were then there the depont told the fd Major Talcott & Capt Allen & others preft publickely, that hee the depont knew that they kept & concealed Coll: Goffe amongft them, & that hee could when hee pleafed lay his hand on his moul- der ; To which they replyde the dept was miftaken, for Goffe was long fince dead, & charged the dept to bee a Tray tor to their Colony & deferved to bee hanged for con- fpiring agft them.
IO That afterwards ...the depont made a fhip to goe off to Bofton under pretence of taking a horfe to fell there, from thence hee fhip't him- felfe for Maryland to his brother Major Ambrofe London living at Annemeffick, in Somerfett County & there gave this Informacon upon oath to his fd brother, Collonell Stevenfon, & Collonell Colburne, defiring it might bee fent into EngPd, which they promis't. From thence the depont came to the Whorekill, & fo hither. And fur- ther faith not.
Sworne before mee by the aforefd John London, in New Yorke, the 20th day of Apr 1680: Matthias Nicolls, Secy.
