The illustration does not do this justice, showing it to be soiled apparently. This appearance is caused by minute gum wrin- kles, the stamp itself being very fresh and highly colored. All the other numerals are shown in at least a single specimen and of the two-cent blue on bluish two copies are shown, one hav- ing the paper maker's imprint embossed in the paper.
