The following Report of the Council for the year 1907 was then read : THE numerical strength of the Association on December 31st, 1907, w...as as follows : Honorary Members . . . . . • 14* Ordinary Members — a. Life Members (compounded) . . . 165 d. Country Member (53. Annual Subscription) . i c. Members (los. Annual Subscription) . . 456 636 This shows an increase of eighteen members as compared with the corresponding figures of the previous year.
During the year forty-nine new members have been elected.
The Council regret that the Association has lost nine members by death during the year : Miss Caroline Birley, C. W.
Blackman, Sir James Hector, Bennett C.
