In the matter of binding books nothing has been accom- plished since our last quarterly report, a lack of funds being the cause. The amount expended on bindings and repairs of books during the nine months of our service has been one hundred and eighty-four dollars and fifty-three cents. Towards these expenses the Society appropriated one hun- dred dollars. This sum, however, we have not used, but we have raised the entire amount by personal solicita- tion among those people who love literature, paid all the bills, settled our entire business, and are prepared to hand over the management unencumbered to our successors.
