He should also be taught by constant practice to draw lines exhibiting the simple quantitative relations of length. He will thus be correlating visual relations with motor relations ; or rather, speaking more accu- rately, he will be correlating visual relations associated with motor relations as given in eye-movements, and motor relations as given in finger or hand movements.
