If it is desired to ascertain the allowances for any month, the following per cents of the total annual allowances will be used : January, February, March, October, November, and December, each 10J per cent of the annual allowance; the remaining months of the year, 6$ per cent of the annual allowance. For posts located in the Tropics, take 8J per cent for all months. For posts located in Alaska, take 12J per cent for January, February, March, October, November, and December and 4$ per cent for the remaining months.
