The department in which Honors are awarded, as well as the grade of the Honors, shall be stated in the diploma.
EXAMINATIONS.
13. Every final examination for which marks are assigned shall be conducted in writing unless otherwise ordered by the Faculty, shall reg- ularly occupy not less than two hours, and shall never be extended beyond three hours.
14. Any student detected in using unauthorized books or papers at an examination, or in having any such in the examination-room, or in com- municat
...ing with any student during an examination without the express permission of the instructor, shall be suspended or otherwise punished at the discretion of the Faculty.
15. If at any time a student shall be found to have failed on an im- portant part of the work in any study of the current year, he shall be required to make up such work in a satisfactory manner at the beginning of the next academic year, as a condition of being permitted to return to College. If, however, at the end of any academic year a student shall be found not to have attained one-third of the maximum mark for the whole work of the year, that year shall not be counted him as a candi- date for a degree.
