Are not these two principles, which are at the foundation of Protestant unbelief and philosophic incredulity that every one is a judge, in a last appeal, of the Bible ; that every one must admit only that of which his reason clearly forms an idea articles of faith adopted confidently on the word of Luther, Socinus, or Jean Jacques ?
