...s could be filled. Two thousand nine hundred and twenty- two slides were used in filling these requests, and as 200 slides were loaned out for periods of from three to six months, each of the remaining slides in stock was loaned on an average of six times during the year.
Miss Chapin's School for Girls, New York City, was continuously supplied with lantern slides during the school terra for illustrating their study course on the national parks.
The demands for both film and slides for educational purposes is far greater than the service can meet with its limited material.
