" The reso- lution taken at the meeting, as brought back to General Beyers by his messenger, was : " Whereas the Dutch South African people in the Orange Free State and the Transvaal are oppressed, the meeting resolves to confide all further measures to General Beyers in the Transvaal and to General De Wet in the Orange Free State.
