Lastly we desire to say that we recognise the need of con- sidering both local costs of living and also the present relative ability of various industries to increase their wage bill.
(d) HOURS.
We welcome the publication of the reports made for the Government by the Health of Munition Workers' Com- mittee, and hope that their recommendations for shorter hours, weekly days of rest, etc.
