There has been deterioration in this area of the institution's program during the past decade, the population has more than doubled, yet only one cottage has been added during this period. Both elementary and high school courses are taug...ht at the institution. In 1964 eleven boys graduated from high school and thirty-five boys graduated from the eighth grade.
The vocational training program at the school is almost entirely confined to maintenance work details, and there is little formal shop training. A considerable amount of non-contractual work was accomplished this past year: sewer lines were laid, buildings were painted and maintained, and the auditorium was remodeled into classrooms. Work experience is being offered in farming, food service, housekeeping, laundry, carpentry, masonry, painting, electricity, plumbing, and vehicle mechanics.
