To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:

99 Griffith & Kisselburgh, soon became widely known as one of the most energetic in the city and achieved such an enviable reputa- tion that, within five years, the position of Deputy Attorney- General of New York State was offered to Mr. Kisselburgh, and he entered into the discharge of his duties on the first day of May, 1S94, resigning on the first day of December, 1897, when he removed his law offices to New York City, the firm of Kisselburgh & Bennett remaining intact. While Deputy Attorne...y- General Mr. Kisselburgh conducted the litigation growing out of the failure of the Murray Hill Bank, and succeeded in estab- lishing the principle that banks which are insolvent and closed by the Superintendent of Banks cannot go through voluntary disso- lution proceedings. It was the first time the question was ever discussed by the courts.
On coming to New York Messrs. Kisselburgh & Bennett opened offices in the Vanderbilt Building, at No. 132 Nassau Street, and while they have not long been established in the commercial centre of the country, the enlarged opportunities the importance of New York's affairs offer to energy and intelligence, when combined with integrity and deep-seated purpose, leaves little room for doubt that the future will bring to them as many honors in proportion as they have been able to gain in more circumscribed fields.
