Next momin', when Grieve heard aboot it, He was at first inclined to doot it, Until he saw the corn low laid, That to him siller wad hae made ; Then in a rantin' passion flew, An' swore he'd mak' the villains rue The trick they play'd that nicht, tho' he Should swing for it upon a tree !
