And to Rover I would mutter ■'Just keep back wdiile fishes bite." Wlien school was out and books laid by, 1 remember well how Kate and I Would lay our plans for future days And long for city life and ways ; Ah, sorry dreams of discontent How soon their pleasures all were spent.
