Befides all confillent Proteftants unanimoufly condemn the church of Rome as guilty of here- iy, fchifm, and great corruptions in the dodlrine and worfhip of Chrift ; and though Ibme may allow her to be the true church, notwithftand- ing all her grofs abufcs of the chriftian religion, they are generally fuch as have favour'd the fu- perftitions of Rome^ and fliewn a very good in- clination to become reconciled to it.
