Rivington brought out a considerable stock of books from London, ...of which he issued a catalogue in November, 1760, no copy of which is now known to exist. A copy of " A Catalogue of Books sold by Rivington and Brown at their Stores in New York and Phil- no adelpMa," issued in 1762, has been preserved. It is a small pamphlet of ninety pages, and is divided into two parts, the jfirst of which comprises 783 titles, to many of which are appended long descriptive notes and extracts.
