What reading level is Some Account of Circumstances in the Life of Mary Pennington From Her Manuscript book?
To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:

She was mar- ried to him about three years, and left a widow about two or three and twenty. She was a most excellent woman, having great regard to the well-being of her chil- 63 dren, both here and hereafter ; and because she might the tetter discharge her duty respecting them, lived a retired life, and refused many good offers for a second mar- riage. I have heard her say, that she suf- fered hard things from her husband's two brothers, Sir Thomas Springet and ano- ther, (who were left executo...rs, ) through their jealousy, that she, being so very young, would marry again. They refused her the education of her children, which put her upon sueing for it. She obtained the suit with great charge, after some years doubting about it. She lived a very virtuous life ; constant in morning and evening prayer in private, and often with her children ; and caused them to re- peat what they remembered of sermons and scriptures.
I lived in the house with her, from nine years of age till after I was married to her son.
