It was unfortunately delayed until first views and feelings became weak of themselves. The support which Jack- son received in America -was admirably calculated to produce other views and feelings, not only by its direct influence on Lord Wrilesley and his colleagues, but by the influence which they could not but know it had on the British nation and the Parlia- ment.
