The foreshore is littered with claim boards. The Americans in Advent Bay used to maintain that their estate extended westward and embraced the whole PROSPECTORS 229 of the eastern side of Green Harbour. A Norwegian company, called the Green Harbour Coal Company, disputed this, and maintained a prior claim.
