The preparations, iodopin and iodalbin (Parke, Davis & Co. ), are perhaps worthy of pro- longed trial in arterio-sclerosis.
The Amenability of Increased Arterial Pressure to Control. — Cases present decided differences in their response to treatment. This disparity is doubtless largely due to variations in the cause and in the stage of development of the pathological condition. The effects of treatment also differ considerably in the two classes of cases — namely, in the cases in which we can freely prescribe rest and regulation of exercise and life generally, and in those who must follow their avocations and their ordinary routine of life.
