Reduction of Bond or Surety The penal sum of any such bond, or the amount of any deposit held under clause "a" above, may, from time to time, be reduced by the Planning Board and the obligations of the parties thereto re- leased by said Board in whole or in part. Release of Performance Guarantee Upon the completion of improvements required under Section V, security for the performance o...f which was given by bond, deposit or covenant, or upon the performance of any covenant with respect to any lot, the subdivider, may orally request and agree on terms of release with said Planning Board, or he may send by registered mail to the City (or Town) Clerk a written statement in duplicate that the said construction or installation in connection with which such bond, deposit or covenant has been given has been completed in accordance to the requirements contained under Section V, such statement to contain the address of the applicant, and the City (or Town) Clerk shall forthwith furnish a copy of said statement to the Planning Board.
