Elytra ovate, convex, at the base much broader than the pro- thorax, broader behind the middle, rather strongly and irregularly rugose- punctate, the depressions rather strong 011 the disc, stronger near the sides where they are like small pits, with a moderately strong irregular ridge on each side of the suture, usually in the third interstice, commencing at the base and disappearing behind the middle ; humeral angles somewhat produced.
