Report o n the Ph iladelph ia Housing Information Service , an experi- mental project conducted by the Office of the Development Coordinator under a demonstration grant from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, was prepared in September 1968. The study assesses the results of a two-year program to help low-income families find better housing by providing advice and counseling to them, and by maintaining an information pool of available dwelling units to which needy families could be referred.
