That in order to prevent the certificates of the ^^J^ fbld^ " private men of the line aforefaid from being counterfeited ers to be or becoming objeds of fpeculation, no transfer or affign- transfered ment of the fame (hall be good and valid in law, unlefs "" ^ ' attefted by the officer commanding the regiment to which laid privates Ihall belong.
