But it was with the Paschal feast that the Hallel was more especially associated, and even to this day it forms the chief feature in the Haggadah 2 used in every pious Jewish home on the evening of the Passover, when they meet to " show " or " tell forth " the wonders of the Exodus from Egypt, and to express their hopes of another greater national redemption yet to come.
