Bractes leaf-like, the lower ones nearly twice the length of the flowers ; upper ones smaller, scarcely so long as the flower ; all lanceolate, acute, of a thin texture, and more or less channelled on the upper side.
Flowers of a greenish white, elegantly jagged. Perianthium ringent, smooth ; upper leaflet short, ovate, obtuse, concave inwards, curved downwards at the point, striated ; the 2 lower ones rather smaller, also ovate and obtuse, striated, bending back when the flower is fully exps^ded ; 2 inner side ones linear, obtuse, spreading, of a greenish white.
