One of the boys having heard of sour mash brought a bottle of butter milk and assured the others that it was the real thing and they all drank it, with the feeling, that they were indeed, doing something bad, but men drank sour [87] THE CHURCH AND PEOPLE'S PLAY mash and why not be as much like men as possible ?
These fine communities express that which is best in our church life today but the monotony of the lives of many persons in the community is unrealized and is intensi- fied by the community's poverty in recrea- tional resources.
