What reading level is The Crucifixion Mystery: a Review of the Great Charge Against the Jews book?
To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:

There is no conflict of witnesses, no striv- ing of pleaders for opposite verdicts as we invariably see in a genuine trial; not a single voice from among sympathising friends is raised for acquittal, but all present are represented as being actively or passively in favour of condemnation. If the pro- ceedings were really such as they are described by the Evangelists, this singular concurrence of all en- gaged therein to send Jesus to an ignominious death could only have resulted from their bein...g an organ- ised party whose real object was to exhibit the Jewish authorities in a bad light and render them altogether odious. Viewed as a dramatic perform- ance, it is also easy to understand the fickleness of the people — probably few in number, though sup- posed to be a multitude — who demonstrated with palm-branches before Jesus, and soon after wanted him crucified; their change of feeling was not real, but merely assumed for the occasion. Tliis most strange and irregular trial is said to have taken place at night, which would naturally be the fittest time for a clandestine court to meet, whereas we know that the genuine Sanhedrin could not hold its sittings in the night nor on any day preceding a Sabbath or public feast.
