He was married November 26th, 1867, to Miss Mary, daughter of Sam- uel B. Johnston, who for many years was vice-presi- dent of the Fallkill Bank. He was a cousin of General Albert Sidney Johnston, a descendant of Archibald Johnston, of Revolutionary memory.
