If the Liberals are in office and they carry out a programme of repression the Ministry is sure of support from the Opposition ; and advanced Radicals or Irish Home Rulers or Socialist Labour men have little chance of making any im- pression upon the House and the country even if, as very seldom happens, they have the leisure and the opportunity for mastering the Details of Indian affairs.
