The peaceful Peasant to the War is press d ; The Fields lie fallow in inglorious Rest ; The gloomy Throngs look terrible from far, Disclosing, show the horrid Face of War : The thick Battalions move in dreadful Form, As low ring Clouds advance before a Storm.
