Corpus Poeticum Boreale, by Vigfusson and Powell, is a more modern effort sys- tematizing old Norse poetry chronologically and somewhat topically; but the work, says Saussaye, should be used with circumspection, as it is, from a philological point of view, far from trustworthy.
