Conquest of the captive peoples over mailed and mitered Wrong In its palaces of splendor and its forts and bulwarks strong!" "Glorious and gifted brother!" thus I sadly spake to him, "Thine a spirit is that soareth o'er the narrow reach and rim Of poor selfhood, and perceiveth what man's better aim should be, But beyond these clouds and charnels my blind spirit cannot see.
