(722) Sir Duncan Campbell, second son of Sir Donald Campbell, second son of Sir Colin (Mor) Cambel of Lochow (No. 2). He had a charter from King Robert Bruce to him and Susanna, his wife, daughter of Sir Reginald Crawford of Loudoun, of the lands of Loudoun and Stevenstoun. He had a son : — (723) Sir Andrew Campbell of Loudoun, Sheriff of Ayr. He was taken prisoner with King David IL at the Battle of Durham 1346, and con- fined in the Tower of London, but was released in 1357 with the King.
