The deer forest of Fealar lies between the famous forests of Mar and Athole, and extends to about 15,000 acres, and for its size is perhaps the best sporting place in the Highlands, 3delding 60 stags and 800 brace of grouse in good seasons, many of the stags scaling twenty stones.
