The ordinances of God's house we have been enabled to continue through- out the year with but slight interrup- tion. While I was absent a few months I engaged the services of Mr. John De- putie for every alternate Sabbath ; he conducted these services with satisfao- tion to the congregation. We have now our regular Sabbath services, and a very promising Sunday-schojl, which prom- ises much good. In the work of teach- ing on the Sabbath, two of our ruling elders have taken the responsibility of ...the whole work. The school now has its superintendent, teachers, and other officers, and is in full operation. We are greatly indebted to the Board of Publication for the liberal donation of books which they made us. The Sab- bath-school library was the desideratum.
