Faith in Christ 129 In this and the following chapters it will be found that whatever is said of faith and faith in God is said also of faith in Christ. They bear the same relation to God's favoiir and deliverance and to the character and destiny of the believer.

And God is presented in pictures (drawn chiefly from the wilderness life and the tabernacle) as a great rock, a tower, a refuge, a fortress, a hiding-place, a secret place, an overshadowing wing.
