The Rhodians, befides the particular merit of the refpe&ive orations, had their curiofity excited by comparing them together; but mine, tho- deftitute of that recommendation, had the good fortune to pleafe : whether defervedly or not, you will judge, when you read the perfor- mance} the extent of which will not permit me to introduce it to you with a longer preface.
