Liv’s breath caught in her throat. She saw the image of a skinny boy pushing her through a window, a toddler sitting on the grass as her house burned down in front of her eyes.

I'm gonna be honest this book was AMAZING I've been wanting to read a fantasy book like this in a long time and this was it. I did read the sequel tho which at the start was pretty good I'm mean u could cry but later on started to get kinda cheesy at the end but overall gud effort!
