... the Mahony. about 4 miles above Gnaden Hutten. 28 miles fr nn Bethlehem, were burnt, and the whole family, viz., Benjamin Gilbert and his wife, with two daughters and a boy. Jesse' Gilbert and his wife, lately married. Andrew Tluger. a day labonrer.'and two or three persons going to the mill are either killed or carried off. Another son of Mr. Gil- bert, with his wife and a child, who lived half a mile higher up on the creek.
