Masters and persons having charge of such vessel are prohibited from landing any pe...rsons or goods, or permitting the same to be done.
If persons go on board a vessel performing quarantine, they are sub- ject to quarantine themselves, and persons landing may be compelled to return to quarantine. 6 Persons violating quarantine regulations are liable to a fine of 950, and if not paid, to be imprisoned for one month. d The goods on board must be aired, and after having performed quarantine, the master obtains a certificate of health from the health officer or justice. The health officer at Savannah receives $2 for each square rigged vessel, and $1 for each schooner, sloop, &c, ex- cept coasters, within the state.
