But now what was he supposed to do. His feet and hands were chained together so that he couldn't move faster than a slow shuffle. Even if he didn't have a guard at either side ready to kill him the instant he gave them an excuse. It was a bad situation, but as he had no control over it, Timothy decided to play along and see what happened. Lowering himself slowly onto his knees he bowed toward al-Mahdi and touched his head three times on the floor.
