WILLIAM C. WHITNEY. Born in Comvay, Mass. , 1839. Graduate at Williston Seminary and Harvard haw School, 1865. Admitted to the bar in New York City. Aided in the prosecution of the Tweed King. Seven years Corporation Counsel in New York, resigning.
