" The brethren dined together at this meeting, and " Mr. William Shakespear is invited to dine with the Brotherhood. " This is the last appearance of Clare's handwriting in the book ; he died on the 19th of May, 1751. The next folio contains the minutes of a meeting of the lodge at the "George, Grafton Street, near Newport Market, on the 23rd of April, 1751, " wherein reference is made to the removal of the lodge from the Shakespear' 's Head to the G-eorge; James Wild (a former member), who is described as W.
