Scott for the benefit of the settlers around. They\vereso successful that a suitable building was soon greatly needed, and the foundation-stone was laid by Mrs. J. Keynes on August 24th, 1882, and the place was opened by public services conducted by the Rev. O. Copland, of North Adelaide, on Good Friday, 1883. The building is 43 feet by 23, and the total cost, with later additions, has mounted up to £344, without including the hearty labours of the farmers in the neighbourhood in carting sand, lime, and stone to the spot ; and every penny of debt is now paid.
