Members shall serve for terms of three years, except that the initial appointment shall be staggered terms of office so that the initial terms of office expire on a staggered basis. Members shall serve without pay and shall serve no more than two successive terms.
(submitted by Planning Board) Article 19 - A motion was made, seconded and voted in the affirmative to 38 TOWN OF SALISBURY have the Town authorize and empower the Planning Board to approve or disapprove at its discretion new subdivis...ions and plats thereof showing streets, or the widenening thereof, or parks, and upon adoption of this article, it shall be the duty of the Town Clerk to file with the Registry of Deeds of the County of Merrimack a certificate or note showing that the said Planning Board has been so authorized giving the date of authorization, as provided in Section 19, and Sectionl9-20 inclusive. Chapter 36 of the New Hampshire Revised Statues Annotated, 1955. If this article is adopted, it shall further be the duty of the Town Clerk to issue all certificates of failure when the Planning Board shall fail to take action as provided in Chapter 36; Sections 19, 20-29 inclusive, (submitted by Planning Board) Note: the Town Clerk filed with the Registry of Deeds the above authorization on March 1 1 , 1970.
