Circulation is at a new high, adults having borrowed 413 books during the year and children 1,128. The task started two years ago of sorting out the dead wood in the library ond cataloging the remainder has been completed this year. We are indebted to Mr. Ralph Riley of Ihe State Library for his great assistance in this project. The book stock at the beginning of the year was 2,297 volumes and was increased by 88 books purchased or given to the library. Practically all of the purchases have been booiks for children with particular emphasis on reading programs and school reference work.
