We also trained with Gilead once and Gorham twice. 332 total training hours.
In October we held a drill at the landfi...ll which included a car to be cut up with the jaws, victim rescue and a fire.
This drill was set up by Andy Sheehan and Gorham fire and rescue attended. Andy supplied the "victims" (his family!) It was a great training exercise.
The Department received 14 new Motorola Digital Spectra portable radios and two mobile radios from the Department of Safety. This is a result of a grant that was written in 2003. The two mobile radios were installed in George Corriveau and Tom Hayes POVs.
Also, an additional new channel was added to these radios, plus the handhelds and mobiles we already have, thanks to being included in a grant the Gorham Police Department received.
