From this Jay Street Ter- minal, which it owns, the Arbuckle Company ships not only its own sugar but miscellaneous freight, SPECIAL SERVICES AND CHARGES Ml which, as agent for the raih'oad companies, it accepts from Brooklyn shij^pers. On all traffic delivered to the trunk line railroads, Arbuckle receives a terminal allowance because he does work which they otherwise would have to do, in the matter of getting his freight and that of other Brooklyn shippers from the Brook- lyn shore to the New Jersey terminals of the roads.
